The 2024-25 season fixtures can be viewed by clicking on the fixtures and results page. If there are any dates on which your child cannot play, please let me know as soon as possible. With just two players yet to pay in their sponsored shoot-out money the current total stands at a brilliant £1,595.
Saturday 22nd February Swindon travel west once again, this time to play Carmarthenshire S.F.A.'s u-11s in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Venue is Ysgol Maes Y Gwendraeth, Heol-Y-Parc, Cefneithin, SA14 7DT. Please be aware we are on a 3G pitch. Kick-off is at 1.00 p.m. so please arrive no later than 12.15 so that we have time to change and warm-up. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm arrangements.
Thursday 27th February Training at New College from 4.30 - 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 1st March Swindon travel to face Wokingham in the third round of the Shires Cup. The venue is Crosfields School, Shinfield Road, Reading RG2 9B. Players are asked to arrive in uniform by 9.45 a.m. ready for a 10.30 a.m. kick-off on a grass pitch. Tea and coffee will be available at the venue and a match programme is also being sold. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm arrangements.
Thursday 6th March Training at New College from 4.30 - 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 8th March Swindon 'lock horns' with our old adversaries, Gloucester - this time in the third round of the Southern Counties Cup. The venue is Longlevens Junior School, Church Road, Longlevens, Gloucester GL2 0AL. Players are asked to arrive at the venue by 9.15 a.m. in preparation for a 10.00 a.m. kick-off on grass. Tea, coffee, soft drinks plus light refreshments will be on sale and a match programme is also being sold. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm arrangements.
Thursday 13th March Training at New College from 4.30 - 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 15th March Swindon head east to Hertfordshire to face Stevenage in the Southern Counties League. The venue is likely to be The Sports Academy, Broad Hall Way, Shephall, Stevenage SG2 9BN. This venue and the kick-off time has yet to be confirmed but is likely to be 11.00 a.m. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm these arrangements.
Thursday 20th March Training at New College from 4.30 - 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 22nd March Swindon play their only home match this month when they welcome Newbury & District to the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground for our Southern Counties League fixture. Players are asked to arrive in uniform by 10.15 a.m. ready for an 11.00 a.m. kick-off on our usual grass pitch. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm arrangements.
Thursday 27th March Training at New College from 4.30 - 5.30 p.m.
Saturday 29th March Swindon play their final match of the month when they head back to Hertfordshire to play Dacorum in our Southern Counties League fixture. The venue is Westbrook Hay Preparatory School, London Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 2RF. Players are asked to arrive in uniform by 10.15 a.m. ready for an 11.00 a.m. kick-off on their grass pitch. Tea and coffee will be available at the venue and a match programme is also being sold. As usual I will contact all players on the Wednesday prior to the game to check availability and confirm arrangements.
The representative side was formed in 1973 and plays in four regional competitions; the Southern Counties League, Southern Counties Cup, Shires Cup and Anglo-Welsh Cup. (click to view details of these competitions).
