This is a new competition for this season to encourage all teams to complete their league fixtures. It also aims to recognise and reward those teams which play all (or nearly all) of their league fixtures but finish outside of the winners and runners-up positions.
The team in each league which has the fewest points and has played all (or nearly all) of their league fixtures) were invited to take part in an end of season tournament and play for the ‘Chairman’s Trophy’.
Any team(s) which have either had matches awarded against them or do not complete their fixtures will be ineligible for this tournament.
The tournament was held yesterday afternoon at Liden Academy.
The five teams which played each other in a 'round-robin' format competition were Southfield (North), Wanborough (South), Eldene (East), Shaw Ridge (West) and Gorse Hill (Central). Ten player mementoes were awarded the winners, Southfield and runners-up, Shaw Ridge.
